Story

Hi i am Lucy, Recently I attended the county selection weekend for the World Scout Jamboree in America 2019 where 238 people attended to try and get one of 72 places available for Berkshire Scouts and Explorers units. I managed to get in and will be going to the WSJ in 2019 and my mission now is to raise £3950 in order to go on this challenging, yet life changing adventure. Some of the money that I raise helps other scouts from less economically developed countries to be able to travel and take part in this event as well .I will be putting all my hard work and determination into this.
As some of my fundrising adventures i'm competing in the 3 towers event (a 45km hike up and down the hills of compton). I will also be competing in the more extreeme challenge the 3 peaks ( climbing and travelling between the 3 tallest mountains of the UK - Scarfell, Ben Nevis and Snowdon- in sub 24 hours)
As I have put in huge amounts of training in order for me to compete in these events and that the Jamboree is such a fantastic opportunity I am hoping you would donate to help me reach my target in order for me to go. This would be really helpful because it would mean I could have a vital stepping stone to reaching my fundraising targets.
