Story
The Malachi Product introduction film
In August 2021 I am moving to Malawi to work in developing teaching and learning in primary schools, through The Malachi Project. To do this, I will be travelling all over Malawi and will need a reliable 4x4 to cope with predominantly off-road tracks which range in terrain from dusty potholes to flowing rivers depending on the season.
Malawi is the second poorest country in the world; primary schools do not have electricity or running water, with basic breeze-block classrooms that often have no furniture. It is common to find over 100 children in a class, all sitting in rows on the floor all day. But despite these challenges, there are incredible teachers dedicated to the children, love coming to school and are passionate about this opportunity. Much of teaching consists of rote learning and The Malachi Project aims to develop more interactive teaching methods, to equip teachers with new skills and confidence and to see a generation of children grow up to be all God made them to be.

This is from the money Mum left me when she died last year - as a former primary School teacher herself she would be so proud of what you are doing!
