Luis Enrique is a 15 years old boy from Panama in the 9th grade. He is passionate about life and football (soccer). At his early age his experience in life has not been easy by any means, but he has managed to find motivation through his passion for football and the eagerness to complete his studies. His dream is to learn English and be part of the Panama football national team "La Sele".

His dream became my dream when I saw the glow of hope in his eyes. He has a hunger for knowledge for a better tomorrow, not only for himself, but for his family. It would sadden me if I ever see that spark go away. He is the reason why I am here today, asking for your help, because I'm unable to do it on my own.

If you could help me, we would be able to subscribe Luis Enrique in an School Exchange program in England from August to December 2019 through the non-profit organisation AFS Panama ( www.afs.org.pa ). AFS is a world wide organisations that provides adolescents with the opportunity to experience different cultures through educational programs. They also offer an array of volunteering programs that Luis Enrique could join to share his experience and keep developing his interpersonal skills.

AFS requirements are to apply 10 months in advance. The £8000 GBP will go directly to AFS Panama once the donation period ends, this will include: round trip plane tickets, internal transportation, accommodation, international medical insurance, enrolment in a high school and orientation before and throughout the exchange program.
