Hi everyone,

My name is Lukas Arda Hesselballe. I am 11 years old and currently studying at Rokeby School in London.

As the whole world aware ,on the morning of 6th of February , a 7.8 magnitude earthquake destroyed buildings and roads in SouthEast of Turkey (11 cities ) and Northern Syria . A week later another earthquake happened at 6.4 magnitude causing more injuries and death .As of 1st of March over 45000 deaths been confirmed in Turkey .

A total of 4.6 million children live in the 11 Turkish provinces hit by the quakes, more than 1500 children separated from their families and left unaccompanied

Watching the news and seeing children living in poor tent conditions-away from their schools, homes, toys and families , I thought I could help to put a smile on their faces and help their mental help by sending them toys

As a proud half Turkish born student I would like you to ask your support and join me helping Turkish children who have been affected by by this terrible natural disaster ,with my campaign "MY TOYS ARE YOURS "

Kids love toys and they are more than just fun and games for kids. Its an opportunity for them to learn, interact and use their imaginations . Therefore I would like to raise £5000 to buy toys for many different age groups and deliver them through local charities in Turkey.

I am a big believer of achieving a goal by working together.
