I will fight in a charity boxing match on the 26th of November to raise money for two great charities.

Bann Jing Jai Children’s Home: Seeks to provide housing, placement and education for orphaned children. The charity aims to help children who tried to beg and / or sell themselves tourists who had come to Pattaya to exploit these poor unfortunate children and those who had no parents or had escaped from violent homes.

The Autistic Thai Foundation is a school located in Pattaya, Thailand, which seeks to provide education and support for underprivileged children and adults who suffer from autism. As well as providing education the foundation also works with the local business community in an attempt to place people into work.

For those of you who know me, you’ll know I’m not really a fighter at the best of times so this is going to be a real challenge. I have already started my training and things are going well, although I’ve not yet mastered the art of punching - which could prove problematic.

I’m doing the event as a personal challenge but more importantly in order to raise money for two fantastic charities. All donations of any size are really appreciated and will be sent directly to the charities. All the money raised will be put to good use and will make a significant difference on the lives of the people the money reaches.

I’ll be fighting at 69kg so I need to eat like a fat man to put on an extra 4-5kg, unfortunately I can’t grow any taller so I’ll be shorter than my opponent, so as well as donations I’ll be accepting any advice on how I can beat this guy.
He’s Australian, enough said really, a bit bigger and heavier than me, so I’ll be all about the stick and move…. in the words of Mickey “First you gotta get speed, daemon speed, speeds what we need, we need greasy fast speed.”
So back to the gym for me, to try and get greasy speed, whatever that is….. thanks in advance to all those who donate.
