Weʼve raised £4,031 to help our colleagues/friends in their time of need.

Funded on Wednesday, 10th July 2019

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

Please dig deep and give what you can to Luke and Miriam, our friends and colleagues from EEAST and LAS who have lost everything in the Barking flat fire.

We are trying to raise some money for the two of them to try and rebuild their lives and replenish everything lost.

This couldnt have come at a worse time with one of Luke’s daughters unwell and their wedding coming up in a couple of months. I don't like having to put a 'target' on fundraising pages as realistically anything will help the pair of them, but I have to put a number up for the page to work - I am sticking £100 as a humble figure in the hope that we can raise as much as possible for Luke and Miriam who have given a number of years between them to two different ambulance services, their staff, and patients.

Please get in touch if there are any non-monetary donations you would like to make also, any household items, clothes, or kids things for Luke’s two daughters’ room, anything would be greatly appreciated. For those who would rather not donate online, there will be a collection box also in the LOM office at Harlow (for those working in EEAST).

    Much love,

    Maya xx

A message from Luke: Thank you to everyone who has donated a huge amount of money to this page, we cannot thank everyone enough for their kindness and generosity, even those who don’t know us have donated. It is really overwhelming. Also to everyone who has donated items and dropped them off at the Ambulance station. We are still waiting to find out if we have somewhere to live at the moment, but hoping it gets sorted soon.
