I will be running the Manchester Marathon on April 27th 2025 which will be my first ever race at this distance! I will be raising money for the charity ICON, which holds a special meaning to me and my family due to an incident that happened 18 years ago to my step brother Charlie. ICON: babies cry, you can cope is a programme designed to help parents cope with a crying baby and help to protect babies from abusive head trauma.

I stands for ‘Infant crying is normal and it will stop’

C stands for ‘Comfort methods can sometimes help’,

O stands for ‘it’s OK to walk away for a few minutes if the baby is safe and the crying is getting to you’,

N stands for ‘Never ever shake or hurt a baby, it can cause lasting brain damage or death’
