Picturesque Transkei, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Municipal water service has been shut-off to over 250,000 people for close to a month! Dwindling rainfall in the region due to climate change is crippling the natural water supplies and pollution has left many without access to safe drinking water. The My Life foundation has the only solar borehole system of its kind in the area. We need support to increase our water storage capacity & pipelines to distribute access to the water we can provide, and vehicles to reach remote locations where rural communities have been abandoned.
