I've raised £5000 to Luna's new leg.

Luna was found abandoned in a building site, he was just a few weeks old. As I was fostering for a cat rescue, I had Luna amongst other kittens staying with me until they were fully vaccinated. Luna however was a different kitty, he was hyper, he would fly around the house in an excited rage of joy, while the others played cute kitten games. When Luna had received his vacs, he let the vet know that he was not happy, this was bad news! I got a knock on the door & faced with an angry woman "do you want him?" she said, holding Luna in a cat carry box. I asked what was wrong, seeing her red face, she told me he was aggressive & will be put down! I grabbed the box & told her I will keep him, she shut my door in my face!
Luna was the blessing of life & energy my older cats needed, they all perked up & found a new interest in life, we loved Luna, I will never forget how happy we were to have him for ever.
Luna got up to mischief, he licked the neighbours birthday cake before they even got to light the candles, he killed the other neighbour's slipper, raced about our home from door to wall to sofa to stairs, there was no telling where Luna might appear from - he was pure joy...... then I heard a scream - a scream that sent chills down my spine. I raced outside to find my young cat screaming in the road!! He had been hit badly, his street cat friend Bagheera who had moved in with us had an expression that I will never forget - the fear on his face!! I ran across the road, grabbed Luna before the next car came - his femur was snapped in two, after hours of surgery, which failed after two weeks, then a second surgery, 8 months of confinement, Luna finally started to walk again but not run, he limped terribly but got on with life. Then the worst night repeated itself, Luna got hit again, the same leg, the same break just above the last, Luna spent the next few months recovering in pins and has plates embedded but his limp has gotten worse lately, I want to fix his leg.
