I met Luna in 2014 near the height of my burlesque travelling obsession. I'd heard about this performer who had a Tank Girl routine and I had to see them. I bumped into them at the Fringe when they were stage managing and shyly said hello although we didn't really get to talk or anything but I was a little fascinated by this blue haired weirdo. Fast forward a little bit and they came down for Dr Sketchy's Leeds and we hit it off, I'd drawn them as Tank Girl (on a flight to the US of all places, highest drawing i've ever done) and gave them the drawings as a gift and we just clicked. They became my most consistent muse, one of my closest friends and well, my queero. I don't think I'd know who I was today without them.

OK so onto what this is for. Luna needs surgery. It was supposed to be today as I'm typing this (Monday 7th Feb) but has been delayed. The surgery will mean they will be unable to work for a period of time. Due to the nature of the surgery this may be an extended period as it will possibly leave an open wound. I will leave the full nature of the issue up to them to decide whether to disclose or how public they would like to be and may update this with anything they wish to include. Due to being unable to work they will obviously have no incomings but due to life will still have all the outgoings. I would like to raise a little to ease this burden and hopefully give them an easier time whilst they recover. They have done a lot for me and for others over the years and I would like to give a little back. They rock and I love them dearly.

How!? I shall be doing a 24hr stream playing games and becoming very sleep deprived. I have done this a number of times over the past few years for various causes so this is this years version.. I am aiming to do this on 25 - 26th Feb.. which is also the week of my birthday! So If you were to buy me a card say... stick a quid in here instead!! :-)

I am planning on doing a few Luna drawings too so I will possibly draw lots to see who I can send these to as a thank you :-)
