Lune Valley Swimming Pool focuses on educating all ages in the lifelong skills of swimming and water safety, in a safe and inclusive community environment. We provide opportunities for children and adults in the surrounding communities to swim and stay active.

We run swimming lessons for children as young as 18months all the way up to adults who are in their 70s. Swimming is an important life skill that every child and adult should have and our swimming lessons help to teach the importance of it.

Over the last few years our Learn to Swim Programme and our activity classes has increased massively and we feel that it is important for us to continue providing swimming lessons and promoting health and well-being for all in the surrounding community.

The money raised from our Sponsored Swim 2024 will all go towards paying for new equipment to be used in our swimming lessons. This equipment will help better our Learn to Swim Programme as well as making our lessons and sessions more accessible and enjoyable for all that attend.

The equipment we are looking to buy would include new whiteboards for poolside, and swimming equipment, such as floats, woggles etc for our lessons and sessions.
