Hi,
My names Lydia and i am 17 years old. In summer 2017 i am hoping to go volunteering in Kenya with African Adventures.
This will involve helping the children by teaching them lessons, construction of schools and teaching sports.
The £1700 will not only cover costs of the flights and food, but it will also contribute to all building materials used, teaching equipment and sporting equipment.
This will be a really good experience for me and will show me how difficult it really is for other people to live in this world. As well it will allow me to help other children in the world which is something that is closely to my heart.

What African Adventures do:
There is extreme poverty in Nakuru, Kenya, and many families live on the perimeter of the town in slum areas. Many families cannot afford the costs that come with an education in government schools, which is why our partner projects offer children a free education.The progress made at these projects has been fantastic and we hope you enjoy spending time at them!
