Weʼve raised £130 to hand out menstrual cups to secondary school girls, starting with my local area. I'm passionate about ending period poverty.

    Story

I have been using menstrual cups for 5 years now and i have never looked back. They're comfortable, leak free, reusable and therefore cheaper and more environmentally friendly than other sanitary products. When I hear about period poverty in my own country it deeply upsets me and I feel like I have the solution; give all girls starting puberty the option of a free menstrual cup. If this takes off I would like to start handing out to homeless women and the prison system too. All suppliers that have got back to me think it's a great idea and the cheapest I have found so far is £7 each but will keep looking. Thank you so much for any donations!
