Story

Starting on June 1st in Chipping Camden, I propose walking the 102 miles of the Cotswold Way, which ends in Bath:

My chosen charity is the “Cancer Crohns Charity”, set up by 2 good friends, Rose & Keith Fairhurst, in memory of their son Graeme who died at the age of 30:

During the last weeks of his life, Graeme had the idea to raise money to build a purpose built unit for young adults to use when they were undergoing treatments; this so that they could be with people with similar interests and of a similar age- Something Graeme felt was sadly lacking during his illness:

Since Graeme’s death, Rose, Keith and their family have raised almost £30,000, and the Unit is currently being built at New Royal Hospital in Liverpool:

I am hoping through my walk, to raise a little more money so that Graeme’s dream can be fulfilled.
