    Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

So,,,, I had a crazy moment when deciding to participate in the challenge of a lifetime to climb a flipping great mountain in support of Saint Catherine's Hospice. However; it's for a fantastic cause as I am sure many of you realise..

Saint Catherine's provides care and support at home and in the Hospice for adults with a terminal illness, and their families, carers and friends. After a recent visit to the hospice, I realised for myself how fantastic all the staff are and the facilities are truly amazing. But they need your support and fundraising is just one area to get involved.

My challenge along with around 40 other people is to climb to the summit of the highest peak in North Africa (Mount Toubkal). Our journey begins in the city of Marrakesh, Morocco. The trek will follow a chain of Berber Villages to alpine pastures set beneath the High Atlas Mountain. The ascent of Mount Toubkal is the key objective of our challenge, being the highest peak in Morocco and Northern Africa.

I am looking for sponsorship to raise monies for Saint Catherine's Hospice having already secured my place on the trek. Some of you having had experiences with visiting Saint Catherine's will appreciate what an extra special facility it is and how amazing each and every staff member is.

Any donation large or small will be massively appreciated and I thank you all for your support.

Saint Catherine's provides care and support at home and in the Hospice for adults with a terminal illness, and their families, carers and friends. Saint Catherine's services allow a patient to remain as active as possible and make the most of everyday.

Hi I am Lynda. I decided only a couple of weeks ago to take part in this challenge to support St Catherine's Hospice. I have no idea really what I am letting myself in for other than its going to be a huge challenge for me and its going to hurt!
