I've raised £5000 to help make life a little easier through my Brain Tumour battles.

Hi everyone, I'm Lynda, I'm now 36 (real feel of 86 most days). This is my story -
For as long as I can remember I had suffered with migraines. It took years for any doctors to take me seriously and do further investigations; Then in 2013 I got the dreaded news - I was diagnosed with a brain tumour!! Lots of scans /MRI's followed, along, sadly with battles with an incompetent consultant. Then I was informed in a letter (like it was an everyday occurance) that a second brain tumour had been found!! Fast forward a bit.... more scans, pints and pints of blood tests, more docs etc and then in August 2015 I had one of the tumours removed... Via my nose ( I know, gross right?!). This Pituitary Tumour has left me with another whole heap of health complications now which I will have to live with for the rest of my life and be on steroids for to keep me alive. Steroids = weight gain = unhappy Lynda!!
So fast forward again and here is where I am at now... My other tumour was being monitored with regular scans and I was told things were stable; however this turns out to be false and the tumour has continued to grow (why have they failed to tell me this until now??) I am now in talks with top dog London surgeons about more surgery to remove "spud" but there are a lot of risks involved due to it being dangerously close to a nerve that could possibly leave me partially paralysed, (it never rains in my world).
So I am reaching out for help to buy myself a mobility scooter, possibly put some towards a new car and pay off some bills to help make my life a little bit easier. Living on disability benefits is not easy, I try my best to keep my head above water. Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning though.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my story and thank you so much for any donations, no matter how big or small.
Have a great day every one and live life to the full 😊
