Blackley Lions JFC are a community "Grassroots" Football Club based in the heart of North Manchester. My Son, Joseph is the U13 Keeper. Joseph along with a few of his team mates are planning on running the Junior Great Manchester Run to raise much needed funds for the team.

The founder, Gary Howard along with his wife Sarah, set up the club in 2016, they provide fantastic coaching and support to all the team members and their wider families which offer the young people of North Manchester, regardless of ability, the chance to play and learn the beautiful game, and the chance to build friendships and learn the value of working as a team.

As a small community team we have to raise our own funds for things such as trophies, presentation evenings, team building days, coupled with the ever rising costs for pitch hire and referee's, football subs just don't stretch that far.

Please, could I ask that you give any small amount to this wonderful team of boys, whom I watch grow and develop as a team, I am very proud to be a part of, every little helps.
