My Name is Lyle Cornet and I'm a very precious little boy.

In February 2016 I was diagnosed with a double brain tumour that will never b cured. It cannot be removed as its pressing on my main optic nerve. I had barely started my life and my parents were now being told I had a terminal illness.

My first round of chemotherapy didn't work and I am now on my second. Because of my very young age I am restricted as to what chemo's I can actually get.

I have had surgery to attach my oesophagus to my tummy and I am completely nil by mouth as this suffocates my lungs.

My mummy has had to give up work as a nurse for the NHS and care for me 24/7.

Because of my need for round the clock care my house needs adapted to give me a ground level bedroom with hoist tracks fitted, a wet room so it's easier for my bath/shower times. I need special equipment to help me get around my home and the standard door sizes etc are not suitable. The doctors have expressed concern for my eyesight but I do respond to light so a sensory area would b really good for me too. I need respite and possibly palliative care nurses to sleep over from time to time so this extension build would also give us the room to accommodate this.

I hope everyone can help and in return I will continue to fight this illness with all my mite.
