Murphy Needs Your Help

On Sept 17th, my dear friend was walking her gentle & friendly dog, Murphy, along the canal in Croxley Green when he was brutally attacked by a Rottweiler that was not on a lead. In an act of loyalty & bravery ,Murphy tried to protect his owner & suffered devastating injuries in the process. Murphy is a 4 year old Cavapoo, full of love & life. He is currently receiving specialist care at The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre in Marlow, where he has already undergone two major surgeries in just the past week. What makes this heartbreaking situation even worse is that the owner of the attacking dog has NO insurance and is taking No responsibility for the incident.We understand this is not the first or even the second time this same dog has attacked, and yet every time, there has been no justice, and no punishment. No insurance means no accountability & once again, it’s the innocent who suffer.

Murphy own insurance has now been maxed out, and the vet bills continue to rise daily.His family has had to take out a loan just to cover the cost of keeping him alive.

Murphy is more than just a dog, he’s a beloved family member. This traumatic, preventable attack has left them emotionally devastated and financially overwhelmed.
