In January 2022, after months of planning and hard work, we launched the Young Futures Programme at our school. This programme supports the social, emotional, and mental health needs of our young students. Every Wednesday the students take part in personalised one-to-one support or engage in group sessions. On average 80 students access the programme each year

However, running this vital programme comes with a cost exceeding £20,000 annually, all of which is generously raised within our local community through various organised events and heartfelt donations. Last year, a group of enthusiastic Year 8 boys participating in the Young Futures Programme came up with a brilliant idea: to organise a fundraising cycle to support this important cause. Their passion and commitment have inspired us all.

Now we are excited to announce that on Wednesday, 10th December, 75 students will embark on a challenging journey to cycle 37.5 miles in the beautiful Peak District. Our goal is to raise £3,750 for the Young Futures Programme.
