They started off small and now are monsters! They affect a number of gardens but as they are all my side of the fence it's my problem. Shared ownership landlord won't provide any help. I've was having them 'topped' every couple of years but haven't been able to for the last few and now they are taller than the house. I don't have a garden anymore, just a moss lawn dominated by these trees. This isn't just affecting my life but all those around me. I don't want sitting in the garden to be just for the cats as they don't mind the trees! I have neighbours I can hear but not see, I can hear the chickens somewhere too. When the trees are gone we can chat over the fence - get to know our neighbours - once there is a fence of course!
