This fund raiser is being started for my dear friend Rachel and this is her story.

In November 2016 Rachel was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, making it aggressive, to give an idea of what this means the tumour grew from 26mm to 42mm within two weeks. In December she had an operation to remove the tumour and surrounding nodes and tissue which was deemed as successful by the surgeon.

Rachel started chemotherapy in March 2017 this followed complications where the tissue that was regenerating wasn't doing as it should. In June 2017 Rachel was hoping that the news would be positive and that any remaining sessions wouldn't be required, unfortunately another lump was found which would mean having extra sessions instead.

In late June Rachel was taken into hospital the cancer has sadly spread to both her brain and lungs she is to receive palliative treatment as the cancer is now incurable.

One thing Rachel looks forward to every year is a holiday whether to Woolacombe in Devon, Camber Sands or Almeria, Spain the most important part of the holidays is to create memories for her and her children.

With this fund raiser I'm hoping to provide a holiday that can provide this wonderful and brave woman another chance to provide magical memories for herself and her beautiful girls.
