So for those of you who weren't aware, 12 years ago my brother Paul was taken over by a condition called Transverse Myelitis.

This is a horrible and debilitating disease which has ultimately stripped him of the ability to walk, and more recently has been a factor in his losing one of his legs.

Consequently certain modifications are necessary to enable him to go about daily life, and due to the loss of his leg he is finding it increasingly difficult to get around his bungalow.

There are two things that would make his life easier...a customised wheelchair, and an orthopaedic bed. The wheelchair he currently has is a standard nhs chair but is too big to get through doorways etc, and his standard double bed doesn't provide the support needed to enable him to sleep comfortably, so at the moment he sleeps sitting up in a chair. Not good!!

Anyway...I'm hoping to change that, by raising money towards purchasing both items, so he can live comfortably.
