a few weeks ago I was involved in resuscitating a band member at Cleckheaton town hall. It became apparent that there is no defibrillator (AED) in the town Centre. Although on this occasion we were able to continue CPR until the paramedics used their defibrillator. It was over 10 minutes before they arrived. I am helping to raise funds so that there is one readily available to our town residents and businesses who are using the Town Centre shops and attending events. I am taking part in the Athens marathon on the 11th November and thought it would be a good opportunity to raise money through this event.
