Story

First of all, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for reading our story.

Earlier this year, our mum, Lynne was diagnosed with stage 3 oesophageal cancer. With the promise of treatment, we were hopeful that she would have her life extended to enjoy the things she loved most, her family.

After having rather gruelling and intensive treatment, we were all feeling positive. Until receiving the call we'd had been dreading, mum had passed away. Although we knew she wasn't very well, we thought we would have a lot more time with her.

Mum being mum, she brushed problems under the carpet and never faced up to how poorly she really was and also didn't want to burden us with the problem. This being said, she didn't make a will or put any provisions aside to pay for her funeral.

With her being a single mum, she often struggled to get by and whatever spare money she had, she would spend it on other people, being the selfless person she was.

This is our opportunity to help give back to her. So we're here, asking for your help, to give our best friend, mum the funeral she deserves. In this day and age, 65 is far too soon to lose a parent so we're doing all we can to continue to make her proud.

Thank you again for taking the time to read our story.

Best wishes,

Rob & Josh
