🏃 Belfast Marathon Relay for the DJR Foundation ❤️

On 3rd May 2026, 6 teams made up of 5 runners each (30 runners in total) will be taking part in the Belfast Marathon Team Relay to raise money for the DJR Foundation.

The DJR Foundation was created in loving memory of David “Richy” Richmond ❤️

David was a devoted husband and loving daddy, who sadly and suddenly passed away from a cardiac arrest on 15th December 2024, aged just 44 years old. His loss has left a huge void in the lives of his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.

In his memory, the DJR Foundation was created to raise awareness of cardiac arrest and fund life-saving medical defibrillators within our communities. Having access to a defibrillator in those critical moments can make the difference between life and death.

By taking on the Belfast Marathon Relay, our teams hope to raise vital funds to help place more defibrillators where they are needed most, helping to save lives and support families in the future. And make sure no other family has to suffer our pain
