I've raised £500 to Help raise funds for Gemma’s medication

In January 2019, Gem was diagnosed with a rare, stage 4, cancerous brain tumour...devastatingly the tumour could not be operated on & she was given 12 months to live..365 days..having already defined the odds & to give a big up yours 🖕🏻to the prognosis, Gemma incorporated #365 into the name of her blog: https://www.gemmalee365.com/ ...( & hence why I’ve chosen the figure 365,000 steps to walk)
Having undergone intense radiotherapy & chemo, Gem had come to the end of her treatment & told it had been unsuccessful & there was nothing else the NHS could do for her.. BUT this ones an absolute WARRIOR of a woman is’nt she!..💪🏼 & in true Gemma style, she hunted down a drug thats available in America & has had amazing responses...& after having a few more scans since trialing it, it appears to be loving Gemma too..🙌🏼 ..but then again, who would’nt! Sadly, like all the finer things in life 🙄..this drug costs £4000 per month! It‘s not available on the NHS..& she has to obtain it from Germany. This is a cost that most of us with young families to support, monthly outgoings & day to day living would struggle to achieve without vital fundraising.
My tiny pledge to Gemma - in comparison to the steps this girl has taken & continues to do so - is to walk 365,000 steps in her honour..these steps may turn into a jog, a run, pushing my pram, dragging a child, carrying a child, side lunges or even bear crawls..but however i do them, a donation of any amount will be truly grateful! xxx
