I've raised £2000 to help raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis and its effect on mental health.

Organised by Mark Beaumont
I am running the 26.2 miles of 2019 London Marathon to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis. I was born with this illness in March 1975 and have fought to live a "normal" life with CF ever since. Many readers may be aware of the physically debilitating effects of CF: breathlessness; low lung function; coughing; stomach complaints; and diabetes amongst others. However I also want to draw attention that the effects that this type of condition can have on your mental health. This can result in acute depression or anxiety, the treatment for which requires an indepth understanding if Cystic Fibrosis.
