Despite being the world third largest island, Borneo is one of the worlds much less fortunate countries where living conditions are severe. Deforestation is very vast throughout it meaning many villages and communities struggle to live as most resources are sauced from the forests. It means a lot to me to go on this trip because the thought of adults and children my age and younger living such treacherous lives is devastating. I want to be able to help and make a positive change to these innocent families precious lives.
