Story
Orphaned at a very early age as a child, Jakir struggled through every stage of life to just stay alive and study so that he could better the lives of his mother and two other sisters. He knew his situation would, God willing, change once he can graduate and get a job. It did not need to be a great one but a job which pays for jobs are a rare find in Bangladesh.
All his life till now his family and him have lived on handouts, their tattered shack has been built from money donated by relatives and monthly food ration would also be arriving through the generosity of them.
Allah is the best of planners, Allah knows what is the best for his slaves. At the age of 23, he has now been diagnosed with Cancer on his throat. He urgently needs surgery. Allah tests us all, so that He may refine us as a better Muslim than yesterday. In these blessed days of Dhul Hijjah, Allah has provided us with a opportunity to help Jakir with his operation. It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The Muslim is the brother of his fellow Muslim; he does not wrong him or let him down. The one who meets the needs of his brother, Allah will meet his needs. Whoever relieves a Muslim of distress, Allah will relieve him of distress on the Day of Resurrection.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2442) and Muslim (2580).
He is the sole earner of the family now, but cannot go to work due to his illness. This money will aid him in his operation and InshaAllah our wealth and health will be blessed.
