Why am I doing this.

I am raising funds in loving memory of my niece and her daughter Alice, who passed away unexpectedly in her sleep in 2018, due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Alice would have been 8 years old. The Charities that supported my niece during this tragic time were, ‘AchingArms.co.uk’ and ‘The LullabyTrust.org.uk’.

Aged: 9 weeks old

Both played an instrumental part in supporting my niece and her family during and after this terrible time. My niece is now ready to share Alice’s short life with you and to help raise funds in her memory, to support any parent who is suffering the loss of a child. Despite Alice’s passing, I’m pleased and proud to announce that my niece has since had two more children, Poppy and Lily, and recently got engaged to be married, which makes me very proud.

You may recall that I did this in 2024, over 3 days. This time, I will be completing this epic 200 mile journey on a Brompton folding bike, with little wheels, in just 24 hours.

Any donations, no matter how small will be appreciated and will go a long way in helping other unfortunate families in times of crisis. I intend to split the total proceeds between the two charities.
