In June 2016, Adam had an accident that has left him with an Acquired Brain Injury (severe brain damage). Since then Adam has been an inpatient in the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald and is currently undergoing a period of assessment at the Regional Acquired Brain Injury Unit at Musgrave Hospital. Adam is totally dependent for all his needs, has limited means of communication and, as yet, is unable to go home until home is adapted for his complex needs.

With the help of his Doctors, nurses, physios and many others, Adam has made remarkable progress and is continuing to surpass all medical expectations.
