Our darling Quincy was tragically killed in the early morning of 17th October leaving behind an immense void, heartbreak and sorrow. He was our furry angel, a friend, a companion, a blissful purring machine. His death has had a profound effect not only on us, but also on his little sister Totore who is now eating very little and hiding under the bed when shes not looking for her brother.

In his short life Quincy brought immeasurable joy and happiness to us and touched the hearts of so many others. We are hesitant to bury his body in the garden as we live in a rented accommodation that will be vacated one day and we would not want to leave him behind. At the same time we can't bear the thought of our beloved boy being incinerated as "environmental waste" by the council. Out of respect we'd like to give him the farewell he deserves - an individual cremation that allows us to keep his ashes.

We are not looking for an elaborate service - it would not ease the pain. However, the cost of individual pet cremation around London area is quite significant. As such, in the remembrance of a truly distinctive, charismatic and loving little chap we would ask if you might like to make some contribution no matter how big or small and to join us in saying goodbye.

Should we exceed the target, any additional funds will be donated to SNARL - South Norwood Animal Rescue and Liberty - who attended the scene of the accident and ensured that Quincy's body was preserved and not disposed of by the council as "waste." Both the government and local councils assign no value to the lives of cats, or any recognition of the life changing impact that they can have upon a person.
