Story

Maa Krupa Foundation is registered UK charity operating for over 9 years (Registered Charity No.1132439).

The organisation helps raise funds for poor & needy people in the UK, India, and Africa

We are currently raising funds to send 105+ oxygen concentrators to India.

Due to current second wave – the requirement is huge and currently 100,000+ patients are in need of oxygen in Delhi alone.

We have partnered with local charities to ensure our small contribution will reach patients who are not able to get oxygen beds in hospitals. This will help to stabilise and aid the recovery of hundreds of patients.

Current Status of Fundraising & Shipment

Total 105 units procured – mix of 5L/min and 10L/min capacity units (Philips and Invacare brands)

£40k already raised – this has paid for 50% of units and these units have reached Delhi 12th May – these units are already being distributed to COVID patients

Need to raise £45k in next 48 hours to pay for remaining units - if we achieve target in next 48 hours - these units can reach India by 15th May (by air)

Any extra funds raised will be used to procure more concentrators

Use of Proceeds

100% of proceeds raised will be used to pay for concentrators

Live tracker will be shared on this page – to show list of patients who have benefitted from these machines

Distribution in India – Partnering with 2 registered charities operating in Delhi:

Gautam Gambhir Foundation - https://gautamgambhirfoundation.org/covid19/ - Delivering concentrators to patients at home. Online application + screening system to verify patient IDs and symptoms. Applications received from 70,000+ patients.

Hemkunt Foundation – https://hemkuntfoundation.com/oxygen-relief/ - Providing free oxygen to walk-in patients at their head office.

Long Term

After the pandemic is over – these machines will be donated to various non-profit hospitals across India (especially in rural areas) where these can be used to treat patients TB, pneumonia and other ailments.
