MACCABI GIBRALTAR 1st COMMUNITY & CHARITY FUN RUN!!!!

This will be the first time that Maccabi Gibraltar are organising a Community & Charity Fun Run to raise funds for local charities and organisations.

Our slogan is: There’s a run for everyone! The participants will cover all of the different age groups. Children, youngsters, teenagers, adults, parents and even grandparents are gladly welcome to join the event to run or walk together. There will be a 1km (Run and Walk), 5km and 10 km runs.

Everybody who enters the run/walk is responsible for fundraising using our sponsorship form and our donation page as well as paying a registration fee which is donated to the Jewish organizations that he/she chooses from our charity list.

More than 250 Jewish organizations have joined the Maccabi Fun Run worldwide. The Maccabi Fun Run raised around $500 000 for Jewish causes in 2016. Cultural, educational, religious organizations and charities set a goal what they raise money for. The more of their members that attend the event, the more money they raise.

Thanks to the Maccabi Fun Run many wonderful organizational dreams have already come true. New playground was built in a Jewish school, new prayer books were published for a synagogue, new sport equipment and toys were bought for disabled children all from the donations raised. These are just few examples from the hundreds of achievements.

In 2017 over 20 cities have committed to organize the event in four continents. We expect more than 15000 participants including you too!
