I’ve had an idea and I hope you can join me.

No doubt you have seen the news and perhaps already felt the pressure of rising costs and skyrocketing bills. I have.

It’s frightening and I really fear for those in our towns who fall by the wayside. I’m sure you do too.

Luckily in Macclesfield not only do we have a strong community we also have some great charitable organisations helping on the front line.

Two of these great groups - Cre8 Macc and Silklife Foodbank rely heavily on monetary donations. They need our support more than ever.

So I write to you with a huge favour to ask.

I'm trying to raise cash to help feed our local community.

I know it’s a *lot* of money and times are tough. I think they are going to get tougher, and now is the time - not when it's winter and people are choosing between heating or eating. Now.

By joining together we can hopefully raise a lot of money which will be a vital aid. This goes directly to help feed and aid the very people we see in our town every day.

So far 20 fantastic local businesses have donated and we now invite you to give, if you can.

Now is our time to come together. Our town is incredible, let’s show them what we can do!
