Hi I'm Maddy, I belong to a Guide unit in Croydon, and after being picked to attend a selection weekend, last week, I have had the privilege to represent the whole of London and South-East Region in going to Ecuador, next August!

Ecuador is a country in South America and 14 girls and I will be staying in the Amazon Rainforest, where we will renovate a 'home-stay' building and a children's school. As we are staying there for 3 weeks, I will also help out at a disabled children's school, which we will paint and renovate, to make for a better learning environment for the children.

I need to raise a total of £3,000 to go to Ecuador and I would be so grateful if you could just take the time to donate, even £5, towards my cause. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I'm so excited to positively change the lives of little children living in Ecuador.
