Story

Maesteg Canoe Club has been very fortunate to be awarded a Public Development Grant from Sports Wales, however we need your help to raise the remaining amount of £1500.

This money will go towards us being able to train 4 brand new Level 2 coaches, as well as be able to purchase new equipment such as kayaks, paddles, helmets and spray decks.

Maesteg Canoe Club is a not for profit community club run by volunteers! With over 70 members the club is an energetic mix of novices and experienced paddlers from all over the county. We were lucky enough to be awarded Club of the Year 2018 by Canoe Wales as well as be the FIRST club in Bridgend and the FIRST water based outdoor cub to achieve Insport Gold from Disability Sports Wales.

Maesteg Canoe Club is able to offer paddling to members with a number of disabilities. Maesteg Canoe Club is a not for profit community club and welcomes any donations for purchases of equipment. By helping us raise the money we will be bale to continue to do the positive work we have already been achieving in the community as well as be able to offer more opportunities to more people.
