Amelie is a bright and determined 13 year old young lady who has a diagnosis of Ullrich Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. It is a condition that mainly affects skeletal muscles (the muscles used for movement). As a result of this Amelie has severe muscle weakness and stiffness at her joints particularly her knees and hips as well as some hypermobility in several of her other joints. She has been a powered chair user since age of 5, consequently, it is becoming harder to maintain the strength of her muscles and range at her joints, and maintain her exercise tolerance and cardiovascular activity.

The Innowalk is the only motorised standing trainer for home use which allows children and adults with moderate to severe physical challenges the incredible and life changing opportunity to stand and move.

Amelie's Innowalk Trial: Clinical Results That Speak Volumes
