I'm raising £600 to support Crohns &Colitis Charity by geting to Everest Base Camp in suport for those living with IBD.

In March 2026, I’ll be trekking to Everest Base Camp with my daughter and husband to raise awareness for Crohn’s and Colitis. It’s a cause that is close to our hearts as 8 years ago our daughter, Antonia, was diagnosed with Crohn’s. It’s been a learning journey for all of us as a family and we have seen her learn how to navigate and adapt to living with this lifelong disease with its ups and downs.

This trip will be incredibly special to us as not only do we get to share this once in a lifetime experience together, it will also show just how strong and resilient Antonia, and others living with IBD, are. Despite the flare ups and tough times she’s doesn’t let it hold her back or stop her. She wants to show that despite her disease, she’s doesn’t let it define her and keeps experiencing life to its fullest.
