A family very dear to me are experiencing hard times at present. They are very active members of the community, giving so much to others as volunteers yet asking for nothing in return.
They live with their 3 children on a narrow boat, living a very simple and predominantly selfsufficient, make do and mend lifestyle.
The mother home educates all 3 children, with the eldest coming up to sit his exams whilst the father works hard with little respite to provide an income.
Unfortunately, they have had to spend their modest savings on the car recently, repairs and ultimately replacing, without which they could not continue their commitments.
Now their boat is on it's last legs and this is their home! I am asking for donations in order to be able to help them out as they have been such a rock for myself and my son during a very difficult time myself, and i would love to be able to give something back.
In a world where many consume and throw away, this family reuse and recycle everything. It is heartbreaking to see them faced with such hardship and knowing they have exhausted every other avenue.
