Hello, I am Gosia known also as Maggie, mother of Oskar Dimitropoulos (who is the main brain behind this idea). Oskar would like to support other children in their school advancements. As a year 6 pupil of Horrabridge Primary and Nursery School he remembers how stressful it was for him to go to school every day knowing that he struggles with mathematics.

Oskar said to me one day..." mummy, I feel so grateful, that you and daddy do everything to fulfil my educational needs. I know that it costs a lot, but after a year with my private tutor, I have so much confidence in what I do at school. I feel so sorry for all those children whose parents can not afford to do it."

So, he decided, that together with my help he will be able to create little charity call "Open Your Wings" and support local schools and children.

His ambition is to support as many children as possible, but we will start with his current school in Horrabridge.

The idea to start fundraising now is, that Oskar will have some free time over the summer holiday to collect/ raise some money and be ready to support someone in a new school year. He is going to be a busy bee with creating some little gifts what he will sale in his shop on Facebook (coming up soon).

As the parents, my husband and I feel so proud of our boy and we will support him in his venture. We believe that every child is special and deserves the best. Why not help them to become stronger and more confident so they will be able to open their wings and fly up high. Children are our future...
