Story
Amelia is 6 years old. She is very cheerful and always smiling little girl. She loves animals, likes painting, listening to stories. Unfortunately, Amelia was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. She is paralysed from the waist down. Because of that her bladder and bowels do not work properly. Amelia has already received Stem cells transplantation. In recent years Stem cell transplants have progressed with amazing results. She has recently been lucky enough to receive a donation of a specialised bike which will improve her quality of life considerably. We are now fundraising for Amelias future care and treatments-all money raised will ensure Amelia has the best quality of life possible. I thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart.
About my 360 mile LONDON-AMSTERDAM bike ride:
I have self funded this trip-therefore ever penny raised will go directly to Amelia.
DAY 1-London to Calais via the White Cliffs of Dover + ferry crossing- 95 miles
DAY 2-Calais to Bruges- a flat coastal 80 mile ride that’s relatively “easy” (yeah right!)
DAY 3-Bruges to Breda- 95 miles through Dutch landscapes
DAY 4-Breda to Amsterdam-last day,just another 90 miles!
Finished with a cold cider & sore butt! 😝
