Assalamualaykum,

Mahmood's vision was slowly declining since he was born and his father was really concerned about how Mahmood will learn to pray the Quran. This concern led him to my father, a scholar in the local community. My father recognised the genuine worry and decided to commit himself to teach Mahmood the Quran using Braille. They both went on this long journey together and Alhamdulillah with the blessings of Allah, Mahmood is doing Hifzh of the Quran.

It is my father's passion to continue helping those with learning difficulties and visual impairment to read and understand the Quran. So he has purchased a building in Preston (UK) to address the needs of people like Mahmood. In fact, there are over 200 Muslims registered as blind or visually impaired in the North West of England.
