Story
A car accident 8 years ago has left me with several disc issues throughout my back to which i have already had one spinal fusion and may in future need more. I Also have endometriosis and recently also diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome both of which causes weight issues, pain and difficulties with fertility.
Before my accident i was fit and healthy and a part time personal trainer but slowly over the years my heath issues have impacted my ability to excercise so im heavier but ive managed to loose enough to start the ivf/iud process.
The thing that makes this even harder is that i have always struggled with my weight from my teenage years. This is likely due to hormone imbalances as well as bad eating habits and by 21 years of age i was 21 stone and a size 26/28. I worked hard in my 20s shedding the weight loosing over 8 stone to get to 13st and a healthy size 14. This led to my love of the gym and training as a PT.
In late 2010 i had my car accident but shortly after i also met my beautiful wife and started a new career in the emergency services, my wife later also changed careers to work in the NHS and as such we don’t earn a lot.
Despite fertility issues the NHS wont fund any treatment. Im 38 so time is ticking and im slowly loosing the weight but we need help funding the fertility treatment.
