For over four decades, many people have been part of a committee that has organised events annually as part of Chirnside Civic Week giving residents and locals something to look forward to each year. In order to provide a more inclusive festival Week, the committee endeavour to make as many events free or as low cost as possible and this is only achievable by kind donations and sponsors from the public.

This year, four of our committee members will be taking the plunge (excuse the pun) into the North Sea as part of the New Years Day dip at Coldingham. This is a huge task for our committee members but it is all for a good cause.
