On the evening of June 19th 2017 we found out that my cousin, 16 year old Maisie Cousin-Stirk, was missing. By the following morning she was found, but sadly she had taken her own life. Even in such a short amount of time, we as a family have received so much support. Many people are asking what they can do to help, and we have had some offers of donations from people wanting to make a contribution. I have therefore set up this page, so that anyone who would like to make a donation, can do so in one safe place.

As this is still so fresh and emotions are so high at this time, plans of exactly how we will proceed with things have not yet been made, and we have no idea how much everything is going to cost. But any money kindly donated will likely be used to help fund the send off Maisie deserves, or to create a memorial garden for Maisie, so her family and friends always have somewhere special and peaceful to go and reconnect with her.

We can't thank everyone enough for the support we have received so far. I know Maisie's mum, dad and siblings especially are overwhelmed with the outpouring of sympathy and grief shared throughout the community and beyond. Maisie truly was a special girl, and we are now seeing even more how much she meant to so many people. The stories of how everyone will remember her as the kind, smiling, cheeky, bright girl we all knew and loved are heartwarming and of some comfort at this devastating time. This angel is working her magic already, bringing other people together, and giving people who are struggling a renewed determination to fight. This is Maisie's legacy ❤️
