I've raised £2500 to support two incredibly special reasons. On the 5th March our team of 'Maisie"s Little Stars' will be running the Chelmsford 5K & 10k

Maisie's Story
On the 7th August 2020 our world stopped spinning . Our beautiful little girl Maisie collapsed without warning at home due to a catastrophic bleed as a result of an undiagnosed Aneurysm. She was rushed to Addenbrookes hospital, Cambridge whereby the neurological team tried to save Maisie's life. After two weeks on the PICU ward & following 3 surgical brain procedures along with receiving unprecedented care from the medical staff, the agonising decision was made to turn her life support off x
21st August 2020 saw our precious Angel grow her wings leaving an irreplaceable void in our hearts and future.
It is with immense pride that Maisie was able to donate some of her organs and this decision was drawn from her caring nature and willingness to help others. This extremely special gift will have provided others the chance of life and we as a family can seek comfort when remembering our precious selfless Maisie 💕
Every day our beautiful girl is at the forefront of our hearts and minds inspiring us in everything we do. To continue her legacy, we are proud to be registering a charity in her name - 'Maisie's Little Stars'
Our aim is to raise money for 2 main reasons all led with children in mind.
To provide funds for Maisie's Forever Garden located at her Primary school (Whitecourt Primary) to continue to build & maintain an outside classroom environment for the children to learn & experience nature in a safe & fun area.
Raise funds towards The Sick Childrens Trust a resource that supported us whilst Maisie was in hospital offering on site home from home facilities to families during the worst times of their lives.
And in addition, act as a platform to raise awareness and support for organ donation.
All these reasons are incredibly precious & every donation received makes one of those little stars a bit brighter ❤
A million Thank You's is simply not enough!
Forever Grateful
Sally & Ian xxx
