Story

At times we come across people and circumstances that resonate with us personally and the issues that one of our members has had lately is heartbreaking.

Matthew St John Higgins had a 1968 Mustang Coupe which he imported from San Diego which was his pride and joy for 15 years. Matthew then lost his brother in a car accident and the Mustang got ignored. Forward a couple of years and Matthew has the passion to re-start the project, he entrusted his pride and joy to a dealer who advised him to sell the car due to the amount of work that needed doing, the car was sold for £2000 which was massively undervalued and near on scrap value.

Whoever is at fault, the fact remains that Matthew is without his pride and joy and as a Mustang Community, we would like to raise funds to help towards another car. The money raised will be held until Matthew finds one, we will send someone along to assist with the purchase and hand over the funds. If a car is not found then the money will be donated to a Charity of our choice – more than likely Macmillan Cancer support.

There are far more worthy causes to donate your money too than helping a fellow owner out but we would love to be able to show our support as a Community/Group. We are Mustang Owners and I would like to think that we look after our own – regardless.
