Make a Move came into my life when I needed it the most. I suffer with depression and anxiety and needed an outlet to try and help it. Make a move and their staff have helped me find ways to cope when I am down, and introduced me to other woman who are going through the same things so i dont feel alone in this world with going through everything. I was told at our last group gathering that Make a move is only going to be funded for one more year at this point. I want to help keep this amazing charity alive I think it's so important for anyone who's down, going through a lot, have depression, anxiety, and just lonely to have somewhere and somthing to help make day's brighter just as this amazing group has done for me and so many others. Make a Move is a charity founded on the principles of music and movement making people HAPPY! The idea is simple, but it is in the PROCESS where you can see Make a Move's magic. We design and run customised sessions and projects for disadvantaged and vulnerable groups from children to adults to those over 65. We do this by instilling an absolute awareness of the bond between BODY and MIND, inspiring laughter, encouraging a sense of fun and promoting happiness.
